Meet Jim Kraus

Founder, Personal Trainer

If you’re a busy person leading a lifestyle with a hectic schedule, Jim Kraus is the personal trainer for you. He understands that your life isn’t necessarily going to revolve around the gym and that your timetable might not be the most regular, but can show you different ways to incorporate sufficient exercise into this!

Jim will take the time to familiarize himself with your goals and tailor a fitness program to your lifestyle that will allow you to achieve them. Being a father with a busy work schedule himself, he knows the playbook for managing your life and staying in shape simultaneously. He is also fully aware of just how much of a game changer a good fitness routine can prove to be in terms of your physical well-being, self-image and confidence.

​Working with Jim, you’ll start a one-on-one relationship with someone who is encouraging, knowledgeable, and fully vested in providing you the coaching, tools, and support you need to be successful.

Jim is a Certified Personal Trainer (CPT) through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) and Precision Nutrition L1 certified.

1. Results-Focused Training

Jim takes an approach to exercise that combines strength, cardio and mobility training to achieve your goals. He will ensure that you have the knowledge you need to train safely, work hard enough to get the results you want, and understand the importance of rest and recovery. In the process, you’ll gain know-how that will enable you to take control of your fitness for the rest of your life.
2. Sensible Nutrition

Many people make the mistake of yo-yo dieting.  You could easily be caught in a cycle of weight loss and weight gain as a result in jumping between restrictive diets and binging. Not only is this futile, but it can prove bad for your overall health and in the long run. Jim encourages a better, more balanced diet that isn’t overly strict but can significantly boost your health and performance.
3. Consistency

There’s no skirting this one, consistency is where most people ultimately either succeed or fail to reach their goals. Jim offers an online personal training experience that promotes consistency through ongoing communication and an industry-leading training app that helps you keep track of your workouts and progress. Jim will do his utmost to ensure that you will stick to your plan!
4. Personal Support

Jim takes a vested interest in each of his clients.  In addition to regular checkpoints to assess your progress, answer any questions you may have, and offer ongoing encouragement, he’s also available within 24 hours (usually in much less time than that) to address anything that comes up you that need help with.  In short, Jim will be a constant source of support.
